It's summertime. Time to hit the beach for some fun in the sun. Here are a few cool ideas to make a hot day at the shore more exciting.
Have a ball

Heads up! The beach just seems like the natural place for hitting paddle balls, rolling beach balls in the surf or lobbing volleyballs over the net at sunset. Get a move on.
Look sharp

There's nothing like a Hawaiian shirt to brighten up an afternoon on the dunes! Or a new tank top to show off your summer-trim body. Or an eye-catching pair of women's shorts to wear poolside while sipping a Margarita.

Let's face it. It's no fun wearing sandals in January. But in July, the sky's the limit: High-fashion flip flops, women's espadrilles, men's beach slippers, even casual clogs for kids. (But if you decide to go barefoot, remember the sand can get red-hot!)

Tanning time. Whether you plan on soaking up the sun while lying on your over-sized beach towel, cuddled in your cozy beach chair or sitting on a simple straw mat, the sun is the main reason you're at the beach in the first place. Don't forget to roll over!
