"April showers bring May flowers." That's what the old expression says. Unfortunately, that also means you're stuck inside until the clouds clear and summer finally starts. But there's still plenty you can do while you're waiting for sunny days to arrive. Take a look:
1. Improve your golf swing

The links may be water-logged right now, but you'll be teeing off before your know it. Get in some pre-green practice using easy-to-put-up, pop-up golf net. Watch out, Tiger Woods!
2. Plan your beach wardrobe

Now's the time to see if you still fit into last summer's swim suits and tank tops. All you need is a full-length mirror and an honest friend. (Or maybe just one with poor eye-sight.)
3. Have a picnic dry-run

Who says picnics have to be outside? It's easy to get picnic baskets, wine coolers and even artificial grass so you can enjoy a picnic in the great indoors! Best of all, no mosquitoes! (Unless you're interested in purchasing some fake bugs.)
4. Take a hike

A little rain won't kill you. Especially if your wet-weather stroll includes a super-sized umbrella, fashionable rain coat and water-proof boots. Why sit at home when you could be singin' in the rain?
5. Take a nap

Fine…you'd rather listen to the rhythm of the falling rain in your bedroom, not on the street. It's also OK to kick off your slippers, turn on your e-book reader, and quiver under the blankets for an afternoon snooze. Maybe the sun will be shining when you wake up!
