    East China Fair (ECF) is the largest and most varied regional trade fair in China. Running for five days from March 1st in Shanghai, ECF is supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and is co-sponsored by nine provinces and cities: Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Nanjing and Ningbo.

    The East China Fair, first launched in 1991, had an extremely successful 22nd edition at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, March 1-5, 2012. Utilizing a huge exhibition space of 115,000sqm, it featured four specialized areas with a total of 5,880 standard booths representing 3,420 enterprises and showcasing fashion/garments, home textiles, consumer goods and art deco gifts. More than 134 overseas exhibitors from 10 countries and regions (Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal, Colombia, Mozambique, Hong Kong and Taiwan) gathered at the show. A great variety of traditional and new products were displayed with sharp focus on high-tech, well-known local brands. The 22nd ECF attracted 21,124 business visitors from 128 countries and regions as well as 22,000 local Chinese. The trade volume amounted to about 3.12 billion US dollars.

    The 23rd ECF will also be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, March 1-5, 2013, with 5,880 standards booths available. During the fair, ECF will arrange business meetings to facilitate trade, joint venture investment and various kinds of cooperation.
