Style and affordability highlighted at Global Sourcing Fair: Fashion Accessories

Thousands of buyers in the fashion accessories industry saw a wide variety of stylish and low-cost products at Global Sourcing Fair: Fashion Accessories at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China on January 12 to 14, 2011.

Showcasing new and upcoming designs from creative Chinese suppliers, the three-day event helped buyers replenish their inventory and keep product line in style. Buyers surveyed over 960 booths, also shared with the co-located Global Sourcing Fairs: Baby & Children's Products, Gifts & Premiums and the inaugural Home Products and Underwear & Swimwear Fairs.

Global Sources' Deputy CEO Spenser Au highlighted the Fairs' significance as an ideal procurement venue in China's business capital of Shanghai. "With China expected to become the world's largest retail market by 2020, the Shanghai shows are must-attend events for local as well as international buyers looking for local sources who can deliver quality products to meet their standards," he said.

Spenser also shared Global Sources' commitment to presenting quality trade platforms. "As personal incomes continue to rise in China, consumers are demanding better quality products. Global Sources' trade shows have already established a reputation among international buyers for showcasing top-quality China export suppliers. We plan to leverage our expertise, brand and existing supplier and buyer relationships to make Global Sourcing Fairs the premier event for finding quality sources for the domestic China market," he stressed.

Pre-registered big buyers were Best Buy, Carrefour, Coles Group, Li&Fung, Replay and VANCL, among many others.
