COMPUTEX 2017 committed to "Building Global Technology Ecosystems"

COMPUTEX TAIPEI continues to innovate its sourcing platform with this year's "Building Global Technology Ecosystems" focus. The world's leading B2B ICT/IoT (Internet of Things) trade show will present five main themes, namely AI & Robotics, IoT Applications, Innovations & Startups, Business Solutions, and Gaming & VR. The show, slated for May 30 to June 3, 2017, will also feature 4 exhibit areas, including SmarTEX, InnoVEX, iStyle, and Gaming & VR. The five-day show will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, Exhibition Hall 1 & 3, and the Taipei International Convention Center, Taipei, Taiwan.

InnoVEX will cater specifically to innovative startups, while SmarTEX will showcase the newest IoT applications. iStyle will display Apple MFi-certified peripherals, and Gaming & VR will feature the "coolest high-performance gaming products."

Recognizing products of ICT excellence, the COMPUTEX d&i awards is celebrating its 10th year. The 2017 awards will add the new "Robots and Artificial Intelligence," "Internet of Things," and "AR/VR Devices + Content" categories.

Participating exhibitors at COMPUTEX 2016 increased 36% over 2015, with a total of 1,602 exhibitors from 30 countries displaying 5,009 booths. Visitors totaled 40,969 from 178 countries.
