Weatherproof IR cameras

Taiwan – Auviss Technology Co. Ltd has released the AIR-T800, a series of all-weather vandal-proof IR camera with a 1/3in Sony Super HAD CCD sensor. The series features models with four, six or seven LEDs with 40m to 80m operating distances and varying beam angles. The LED s are controlled by a photo diode sensor control.

Each camera in the series works with at least 0.15lux illumination. It has BLC, automatic iris control and AWB.

The IR camera runs on 24V AC (+/-10 percent) or 90V to 260V AC (+/-10 percent) with 3.5A current rating. It works in temperatures within -40 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius. Its heater turns on at 18 degrees Celsius and powers off at 28 degrees Celsius. The blower control can be set to operate when temperatures reach 35 degrees Celsius.

The IP66-rated camera is encased in 4mm-thick tempered glass and diecast aluminum alloy. It has an ivory powder-coated stove. It comes with bracket mounts that support easy cable management.

The camera space measures 215x120x115mm and weighs 3.35kg.
