	OEM suppliers for major brands in the US, Europe and Australia are set to flaunt their new designs in the daily Fashion Parades.

Styles that emphasize and flatter women’s figures will attract buyers’ attention at the China Sourcing Fair: Underwear & Swimwear.

Makers from mainland China and other Asia hubs will showcase the latest trends in shape- and sleepwear, lingerie, swimming attire and accessories at the China Sourcing Fair: Underwear & Swimwear. The event will run from April 20 to 23 in Hong Kong.

Women’s bodysuits, waist cinchers, push-up bras, high-waist briefs and camisoles that offer health benefits are again expected to impress visitors.

Material innovations will top makers’ design trends, as new models use microfiber for comfort, moisture absorbency, breathability and resistance to germs.

Natural substances such as bamboo charcoal fiber and chitin will also be adopted for their anti-bacterial, deodorizing and air-permeable characteristics.

Versions for men such as front/back-enhanced briefs, compression shirts and exercise pants will likewise be on display. In the swimwear line, manufacturers will go beyond the traditional, offering models with bold prints and fancy configurations.

High-end releases made of silk and other sophisticated fabrics will be prominently displayed, reflecting the upmarket trend. Embroidery and intricate embellishments are value-added options.

Diversity, however, continues to be the show’s overriding theme. Designs range from plain and solid-colored to printed, embroidered and lace-adorned.

Riding on the “green” trend, several exhibitors will launch their latest collections made of earth-friendly fabrics. Some products will be compliant with environment-protection standards.

Global Sources will also host a series of free conferences paneled by trade and industry experts, where visitors could avail of varied market intelligence reports during the show.

Vendor summits and private sourcing meetings are also scheduled to maximize business opportunities between volume buyers and suppliers.
