Suppliers of oversized shopper bags in mainland China and Taiwan are improving their material choices, construction methods and QC procedures in order to ensure the durability of their products.

With lengths and widths reaching 70cm, extra-large totes are likely to be abused by users with excessive loads. Because of this, makers are creating bags with a maximum capacity of 15 to 50kg.

Canvas is the main material for shopper bags at Guangzhou V-Goal Handbag Co. Ltd, but polyester and nylon models are available as well. Exterior pockets and leather trimming add interest to new designs.

Wenzhou Chinas Printing & Packaging Co. Ltd and Wuhan Sinicline Industry Co. Ltd focus on bags made of nonwoven fabric or PP strips in a basket weave construction. The materials can be coated or laminated with PU or PE for durability.

In Taiwan, Keen Ching Industrial Co. Ltd creates shopper bags that consist of one continuously wound polyester zipper. As a zipper specialist, it uses its in-house KCC brand of closures for the end product.
