China (mainland) – Maxvideo Electronics Co. Ltd offers VM-283CR, a mini vandal-proof day-and-night camera equipped with a 1/3in Sony CCD sensor that supports 420 TVL resolution. It has 36 infrared (IR) LEDs with 20m to 35m viewing distance and 85nm wavelength. The unit comes with a 4mm to 9mm or 9mm to 22mm varifocal lens. It supports 500x582-pixel resolution in PAL or 512x492-pixel in NTSC. It features auto IR-on when illumination is less than 3lux, allowing it to capture images at 0lux minimum illumination. The day-and-night camera has Intersectant 2:1 scanning mode, 15.62kHz/50Hz and 15.75kHz/60Hz scanning frequencies for PAL and NTSC, respectively. Electronic shutter speeds are 1/50s to 1/100,000s for PAL and 1/60s to1/100,000s for NTSC. The unit has color to b/w and internal sync system. The model features 48dB S/N ratio, 0.45 gamma correction and VBS 1.0Vp-p at 75ohms composite video output. It operates on 12V DC power supply with 13W maximum power consumption. The camera has a water-resistant aluminum alloy case with anti-mist double glass structure, twist design and an optional wire-hidden bracket B28. It has -20 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius operating temperature range. It measures 120x96mm and weighs 1.2kg.
