South Korea – The BIP-1300 from Bluebird Soft Inc. is an industrial PDA that integrates a 1D/2D linear CMOS barcode scanner, thermal printer for printing 2in receipts, an IC card and a bi-directional track 1/2/3 magnetic stripe readers in a single handheld device. Its IC card reader supports EMV L1 and L2 (contact) and A/B/Mifare (contactless). It supports POS (on-the-spot billing), asset and inventory tracking and management, and mobility enhanced transactions.

The unit comes standard with a 520MHz Intel Bulverde PXA270 processor, 128MB RAM and 128MB/256MB ROM, and runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 Premium Phone Edition or CE 5.0 OS. It features a 3.5in 260K-color touchscreen TFT-LCD with 240x320-pixel resolution, 2MP camera with flash, an SD card slot and a PCI PIN pad, which connects via serial and USB ports or Bluetooth. It supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE (Quad Band), WLAN (802.11b/g) and CDMA (1x or EVDO) wireless networks.

Optional GPS capability is available via SiRF III GPS module.
