Hong Kong SAR – Meet International Ltd has released model MS-98F, a pinless moisture sensor suitable for use in wood, drywalls, fabrics, papers, and plywoods. All in all, the unit can be used with six different materials including 50 types of wood or timber. It measures 0.0 to 99.9 percent moisture with 10 different groups. It has a sense depth of up to 20mm or 3/4in and issues a sound alarm when peak detection is reached. This moisture sensor is built in with an LCD panel and a data hold function that freezes the reading and display. It has auto calibration and low battery indicator. It runs on a 9V/NEDA 1604/1604A or IE6F22/6FR61 battery [not included]. Delivery lead time is 30 to 45 days.
