Units operate with little to no supervision by adopting IR sensors, ultrasonic technology and self-charging functions.

A growing number of robotic mops from China is steadily becoming more self-reliant, boasting features that allow units to be left alone during operations. Models are also designed for wet and dry applications.

New releases are equipped with multiple IR sensors and adopt ultrasonic technology to detect barriers and cliffs, preventing collisions and falls. Some models support visual navigation in which units create and record a virtual map that indicates in where to clean and the areas to avoid.

Suppliers also add value to recent releases by incorporating extra functions. One model in this gallery, for instance, doubles as a UV sterilizer, killing bacteria from floors after sweeping or mopping. Another plays music.

The products in this gallery were selected by our Market Analysts to represent the current trends in robotic mops.
