Taiwan – Silicon Power Computer & Communications Inc. has released its RoHS-compliant 128GB solid state disk (SSD) that is compatible with SATA and IDE interfaces. The SSD is compatible with desktop and laptop PCs and supports internal error-correcting code (ECC). It has zero noise, latency delay and seek error, and it requires 4.5V to 5.5V operating power.

The solid state disk measures 100x69.85x9.1mm and weighs 110g. It has a maximum shock resistance of 1,500G, and withstands a minimum of 10,000 insertions and maximum vibration of 20G peak-to-peak. Operating temperature is at 0 degree to 70 degrees Celsius, and storage temperature is at –20 degrees to 85 degrees Celsius. Humidity level should be between 8 to 95 percent.

The product comes with a two-year warranty.
