Model K-DVR-8PD/16PD from IZEX KOBI Technology Co. Ltd is a standalone network disk video recorder that supports both digital video/audio recorder (DVR) and digital video/audio server (DVS) functions. Each channel can be compressed independently in H.264 format at 25fps in PAL and 30fps in NTSC, and OggVorbis standard at 16Kbps output bitrate. It supports D1, DCIF, 2CIF, CIF and QCIF video compression in PAL/NTSC; and operates over TCP, IP, ARP, RARP, PPP, PPPoE, DHCP and SNMP networks, as well as ADSL broadband and PSTN narrow-band transmissions. The device has scheduled, alarm- and motion-triggered recording modes; and supports preview and playback functions with fast, slow, pause and play frame one-by-one controls. It supports pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) controls. The unit has up to four fixed SATA HDDs, a built-in SD memory card slot, non-PC-based DSP hardware with proprietary system firmware and an optional DVD-RW drive.
