Dezhou Hualude specializes in construction hardware, with 5 percent of output dedicated to anchor bolts. One new model is added to the line annually. Sampling takes 30 days.

Shanghai Uni-star offers a range of fasteners, including anchor bolts, nuts, washers, screws, rivets, nails and hose clips. Anchor bolts account for more than half of output. North America, the EU, Asia, the Middle East and Africa are the export destinations.

At Tai He Yu, 5 percent of output consists of anchor bolts. Couplings, screws and nuts make up the rest.

Anchor bolts are made in a 3,500sqm factory with high-precision lathes and CNC thread-rolling and drilling machines. About 12 million pieces are produced annually. Zhejiang Yonghua specializes in fasteners for appliance and automotive applications, with anchor bolts accounting for 5 percent of production. Products meet GB, DIN, JIS and ANSI standards.

Exports go to North America, the EU, the Middle East and Africa. Haier, Fastenal, Adolf Würth and Double Fasteners are among the major OEM clients.

Processes, including cold forging and thread rolling, are done in the company's 12,000sqm factory in Ruian. The 350-strong workforce includes 50 R&D engineers who prepare samples based on clients' specifications within 30 days. Twenty technicians conduct QC.
