Synthetic leather shoulder bags

Pretty started as a manufacturer of fashion jewelry and headwear. In 2005, the company branched out into bags and travel goods. Now, fashion jewelry and headwear, and bags and travel goods take an equal share in sales.

The company intends to eventually specialize in bags. Toward that end, it is intensifying the promotion of bags so that the line will account for 60 percent of revenue in 2008.

Pretty currently exports 75 percent of output to the EU. Among the major clients is Zara in Spain.

Suneast started out as a belt specialist, and began producing fashion bags in 2002.

The in-house R&D team includes 15 designers who create 200 new models every month. The specialists work with buyers to meet customized requirements.

The company does not charge any fees for new pattern development for orders amounting to $100,000.

Suneast operates two local factories that are equipped with 300 sewing machines.

Exporting all metallic bags output to North America and the EU, Wenzhou ICL manufactures 30 percent of orders under ODM.

Wenzhou ICL specializes in shoes and bags, with metallic bags accounting for 5 to 10 percent of sales.

Production is carried out at the company's 150-worker factory, which has 15 designers, 15 sample makers and about 30 QC inspectors. Most of the QC staff has at least five years of experience.

About 50 new designs are developed each month. Sampling takes one week.
