Car tire production at Cheng Shin is running at nearly full capacity. The company has a total of 11 factories in Taiwan, mainland China and Thailand, covering a combined area of 3.3 million square meters. All processes are done in-house following ISO 9001 standards.
Various tire models are available, including those for cars, off-road vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles. Models bear the E-Mark, and QA and DOT approval.
Car tires represent more than 50 percent of output. Most products are exported, with models under the in-house Maxxis and Cheng Shin brands accounting for 80 percent of shipments.
