Inbot Technology Ltd has introduced the PadBot T1, a desktop telepresence robot that uses a smartphone as its brain. To use the device, the PadBot app needs to be installed first on a smartphone, which will then connect to the model via Bluetooth 4.0. Once the app is running, the user can start inviting friends and colleagues to a videoconference. The robot's movements can be controlled via the app. The small bar in the middle keeps the phone in place. This bar can also be tilted for a better view. A 1,800mAh battery is adopted, allowing the model to work continuously for 80 hours.

The product suits business and household setups. Dimensions are 3.6x12.6x16.2cm when folded.

Inbot has a monthly capacity of 1,000 to 2,000 units. Key clients include Huawei and China Mobile.
