Improved clarity: China suppliers of diving masks are adopting tempered-glass lenses treated to prevent fogging and reduce light reflection. Certain designs are fitted with tinted versions that correct color distortions underwater.
Ergonomic straps: For greater comfort, makers are employing two silicone straps in many models. One-step locking mechanisms and quick-release clips allow users to adjust the fit without taking the bands off.
Camera integration: Several recent releases are fitted with a detachable camera, which can take still photos and videos. LED lights provide the required illumination for recording.
Aesthetic enhancements: More color options are offered for the frames and straps. Designs with dual-color frames and patterns on the nose bridge are on hand as well.
