Canavis International Corp. Ltd's model IPC10A smart home IP camera for CCTV systems is configured easily by a mobile app. Users just need to plug in the power and network cable to it and download the Yoosee app. After creating an account and signing in, the app detects automatically connected cameras for quick editing and live viewing. Wi-Fi settings are also toggled through it. The cable can then be detached and the camera placed anywhere within range of the Wi-Fi network.
The smart home IP camera adopts a 1/4in color CMOS sensor, 3.6mm lens, four array LEDs and a built-in speaker and microphone. Night vision reaches 10m. The unit pans and tilts, delivers 1MP and 720p, and senses motion. It alerts via e-mail or snapshot to FTP. Besides Android and iOS mobile phones, recordings can be viewed on PCs running Internet Explorer 7 or later versions, Safari and Opera. The CE-, FCC- and RoHS-compliant product operates on 5VDC 2A and consumes 6 or 4W, the latter when IR is off.
