Q1: How can I receive and check RFQ?
You can only receive and check RFQ if you are logged in to Message Center. There are 3 ways to log in:
1. Go to //message.globalsources.com and input your Private Supplier Catalogue user name and password2. On the Private Supplier Catalogue homepage, click “Message Center” in the navigation bar
Once you’ve logged in to Message Center, click “Buying Leads” in the top navigation bar to see all the quotations from buyers. Click “RFQ” on the left to show the RFQ that matches your product categories. You can now browse and manage all your RFQs.
Q2: Who can send RFQ?
All Global Sources’ buyers can send RFQ via Globalsources.com and Message Center or at Global Sources Exhibitions.
Q3: How many RFQ can a buyer submits per day?
Buyers can only submit up to 10 RFQs per day.
Q4: What is the maximum number of quotations each RFQ can receive?
A maximum of ten quotations but six-star advertisers have the privilege of sending quotations to an RFQ that has reached the upper limit.
Q5: Is RFQ sent only to my Message Center? I’m afraid of missing out on the opportunity.
Do not worry! Once there is a new RFQ, Message Center will send an email alert to the supplier to remind him/her to reply to the RFQ using Message Center.
Q6: Can sub accounts of the same company reply to a certain RFQ?
Only one account per company can reply to the RFQ. First to reply gets priority.
Q7: How will I know if an account from our company has already replied to the RFQ?
They will see the message below and there will be no reply box available.
Q8: Are there any privileges for master account holders?
Yes! Master account holders can reassign a replied RFQ to other staff members, remind a sub account to follow up on an RFQ without a reply yet, check all the accounts in the company, and download RFQ report.
Q9: Does an RFQ expire? What can a supplier do to an expired RFQ?
Yes, each RFQ has an expiry date. The shortest expiry date that a buyer can set is seven days. The supplier can check and delete the expired RFQ but cannot reply to it.
Q10: How do I receive more RFQs?
Click “Website and E-mail Settings” in “Settings” of Private Supplier Catalogue, click “RFQ Rules”, click “Customized Keywords”, input your keywords and click “Save”.
