How to Log in Inquiries Manager

Step 1: Click 'View Inquiries' under 'Inquiries' in menu bar.

Step 2: You will see all the inquiries that buyers sent you through our system in a table. The most recent inquiries will be displayed at the top of the list. There are up to 20 inquiries listed on each page. You can click on the subject link to check the details of the inquiry.

How to Forward Inquiries

You can forward inquiries to your own e-mail or to specific staff for follow up.

Step 1: Click 'Forward Inquiry' under 'Subject' of the inquiry to be forwarded.

Step 2: Input the e-mail address of the recipient, and then click 'Send'.

Please note: You can select addresses from your address book by clicking 'To', 'Cc' and 'Bcc'.

How to manage your inquiries by creating an Automatic Distribution Rule

You can automatically forward inquiries to assigned folders by creating Automatic Distribution Rules.

1. To start, create a subfolder.

Step 1: Click the '+' icon on the right side of the 'Inbox' folder or 'Forwarded' folder.

Step 2: Input new folder name in the pop-up window, then click 'Save'.

Step 3: Click the inverted triangle icon, you can 'Create', 'Rename', 'Move' or 'Delete' the folder.

2. Create an Automatic Distribution Rule to automatically send inquiries to a subfolder.

Step 1: Click 'Create Automatic Distribution Rule' under 'Inquiries' in the menu bar.

Step 2: Select a subfolder in the drop-up menu under 'Move Inquires to the specified folder'.

Step 3: Separate inquiries by country of origin, product category, and/or e-mail domain name.

Step4: Input rule name, such as 'By Category', and then click 'Save'.

Please note: You must assign the same name to both your subfolder and Automatic Distribution Rule.

Step 5: Click the folder selected in Step 2 and distribute it to a user so that he/she can enter this folder and review the inquiries directly. (Please make sure the user is an administrator)

Please note: Only the Super Administrator can review all inquiries received and distribute them to other users for follow-up.

What is Buyer Profile?

Buyer Profile provides details about buyers' recent sourcing actions to help you understand buyers' interests and how they use Global Sources. This information is only available to Verified Suppliers.

What information is included in Buyer Profile?

With Buyer Profile, you can see:
•  The latest 5 unique Product Alert categories the buyer has subscribed to on Global Sources Online.
•  The latest 5 unique product keywords the buyer has searched for on Global Sources Online.
•  The latest 5 unique categories the buyer has browsed on Global Sources Online.
•  The latest 5 unique news article categories the buyer has viewed on Global Sources Online.
•  Year of registration with Global Sources Online.
•  If the buyer has attended a Sourcing Fair.
•  If the buyer has downloaded or subscribed to a Global Sources magazine.
•  If the buyer has purchased a Sourcing Report.
•  If the buyer has participated in a Private Sourcing Event.

How to search for inquiries that include Buyer Profile?

There are two ways to search for inquiries that include Buyer Profile:

1. By clicking View Inquiries under the Inquiries menu. There, you will find the Buyer Profile column, which shows whether Buyer Profile is included or not included in the inquiry.

2. By using the search function in your inquiry folder. Simply click “Search Inquiries” then select "included" next to "Buyer Profile". You can also search for inquiries by subject, company name, first name, last name, country, e-mail address and date range.

How to download your inquiry list

Please Be Noted: Only Super Administrator can operate this function.

Step 1: Click 'View Inquiries' under 'Inquiries' menu.

Step 2: Enter 'Inbox' Folder, and click a sub-folder under 'Inbox'.

Step 3: Select a time period from the dropdown menu and then click 'Download'. You can download the inquiry list during the time period under this folder.
