New home, office and car electronics, security products and electronic components are on display for three days starting April 11.

The world's largest electronics sourcing show, Global Sources Electronics opened today, April 11, boasting cutting-edge electronics at the Experience Zones and the Startup Launchpad pavilion. Global Sources' flagship trade show, Global Sources Electronics runs in two phases, April 11 to 14 and 18 to 21, at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo.

The first phase focuses on home, office and auto electronics, plus security products and electronic components. The second phase, Global Sources Mobile Electronics will showcase 2,300 booths with the latest smartphones, tablets, wearable devices and mobile accessories.

Phase 1's Virtual Reality & Gaming Pavilion and Experience Zone targets specifically a market segment forecast to be worth $30 billion by 2020. It will also feature an even wider selection of products in emerging and high-growth categories, including smart home, 4K TVs and displays, outdoor imaging, drones and personal electric transporters.

Startup Launchpad, which runs through both phases, showcases the latest tech products from emerging hardware startups. More information is available at http://www.launchpadhk.com/

Global Sources Electronics is expected to draw in more than 50,000 buyers from 150 countries and territories. Purchasing decision makers from top brands such as Asus, Belkin, Bose, Dolby, Fujitsu, HP, IBM, Panasonic, Samsung and Toshiba be attending.
