Health and Safety Measures
Global Sources always puts the safety of exhibitors, visitors and service users first. Following the guidelines promulgated by the World Health Organization and Hong Kong’s Centre for Health Protection, Global Sources has introduced enhanced precautionary measures to safeguard the well-being of all show attendees, as follows.
Hand sanitizer stations at main entrances, public areas, Customer Service Counters and washrooms throughout the venue. Visitors are strongly advised to perform hand hygiene frequently, especially if touching the mouth, nose or eyes.
Enhanced and frequent cleaning and refuse management, with facilities disinfected using diluted bleach (1:49) and disinfectant agent.
Temperature screening for exhibitors, visitors and service users will be implemented on-site. Anyone with a high temperature (at or over 37°C) will be denied entry. Dedicated onsite team will follow up with individual with fever or acute respiratory illness.
All show attendees are required to wear face masks in all areas inside the venue. As advised by the Centre for Health Protection, it is recommended to wear surgical masks. Masks, disposal gloves and hand sanitizers will also be available on request at the information counter, Show Management Office and Registration Counter.
Before entering the show, all attendees are requested to download the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app and scan the QR code via the app at the show entrance or register their contact details (names, contact numbers and the dates and times of visits) using e-version or paper form to facilitate contact-tracing whenever necessary. The written or electronic registration records will be kept for 31 days.
Eating only allowed in designated F&B areas. No eating inside exhibition booths or hall aisles.
In cooperation with the HK Government, the venue has adjusted the maximum capacity to avoid overcrowding. Crowd density will be monitored and the number of visitors inside halls will be limited to avoid overcrowding.
Show attendees should minimize physical contact and maintain social distance at all times, e.g. follow the specific floor marks when queuing inside the venue, avoid large gatherings of people.
