3D printer makes edible pancakes

Adopting spray deposition technology, the 3D Pancake Printer model from Beijing Hesion Technology Co. Ltd creates an edible, 3D-printed pancake in various shapes and designs. It uses batter, which serves as the ink, made of cake flour and butter found in regular pancakes. The user can create the design and save it in an SD card for printing. The unit has a dispenser that will squirt the batter onto the printing platform and print the pancake by tracing the design patterns. Printing size is 20x25cm. The unit can print one pancake in 3 minutes.

The 3D printer is loaded with an A9 1.6GHz quadcore processor. It has a 7.1in HD capacitive screen. Wi-Fi is supported.

A 3D printer manufacturer, Beijing Hesion designed the model in collaboration with a company called Shihaoyun.
