Here are five big trends at the show:

1. Bright colors: Kitchen and dining products showcased all the colors of the rainbow, from purple knife handles to orange cookware.

2. Shiny, metallic finishes: Metal-plated wine glasses and other things shiny demanded attention.

3. Eco-friendly: Environmental friendliness remained a big trend, with many exhibitors boasting products made of earth-safe materials such as bamboo fiber.

4. All-in-one products: Convenience was the name of the game in household products this year, with many different categories of all-in-one products such as wine aerating, chilling and pouring tools.

5. Food prep made easier: Various kitchen tools that speed up food preparation were on display, including meat claws that prevent burns and salad makers that cut vegetables in five shapes.
