Action camera shoots 360 degrees panorama

Shuoying Digital Science & Technology (China) Co. Ltd offers Panoview, the company's latest action camera that can take 360-degree panoramic photos. Resolutions for video and image are 1920x1080 and 2560x1920 pixels, respectively. Videos are taken at 60fps. Scheduled for mass production by the end of 2015, the camera will come in single fish- and dual fish-eye versions, and will use the in-house-developed SYMax360 software. The Panoview has an iCatch 8m CMOS image sensor and a 190-degree fish-eye lens with an aperture of F2.0 and an effective focal length of 1.1mm. Powered by a 1,000mAh Li-ion battery, the model can shoot videos at maximum resolution continuously for one hour. Memory is expandable to 32GB via a microSD card.

Shuoying Digital's factory spans 70,000sqm. The company's monthly capacity reaches 500,000 to 600,000 units. Wal-Mart, Radioshack and Disney are some of its major customers.
