For use in electronic equipment, and antenna coupling, zero-crossing and bypass circuits, Guangdong South Hongming (HK) Elec Science & Tech Co. Ltd's ceramic disc capacitor comes in X1, Y1 and Y2 versions with ≤2.5 percent dissipation factor and ≥10,000Mohm insulation resistance at 500VDC.

The unit with high dielectric coefficient features a flame-retardant epoxy resin encapsulation. It has 250 or 400VAC rated voltage and withstands 1,500, 2,500 or 4,000VAC. The temperature coefficient is Y5P, Y5U, Z5U or Y5V.

Guangdong South Hongming owns a 28,000sqm factory. LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Casio, Pioneer, Uniden and Whirlpool are among its major customers.
