The coffee-making process has been made significantly easier by a range of smart coffee machines that can be operated via smartphone apps.
Retail store chain Brookstone released the BrewGenie, which brews coffee in three different ways. Using their smartphones, and with both mobile and machine in close range, drinkers can prepare a cup by accessing the EZPro app, which is available for Android and iOS devices. Auto brewing is also an option with users allowed to set the same time for each day. Those without smartphones can adjust the settings directly on the BrewGenie.
BrewGenie has a permanent filter and features aroma enhancement. It also indicates when the water has run out and when brewing would stop. The app has an alarm which drinkers can wake up to as the coffee brews.
Another app-enabled coffee maker is the De'Longhi PrimaDonna Elite Professional Coffee Machine. It is packed with more options, including a wide range of recipes. Drinkers can choose from espresso, cappuccino, macchiato and even hot chocolate, milk or tea.
With the PrimaDonna Elite app, users can save up to six new recipes. The coffee maker has a 4.3in color touch display for individuals to select their settings.
Similar coffee machines are available from Global Sources suppliers here and here.
