A Sweden-based firm has successfully completed its Kickstarter funding campaign for Lyfe, a $200 planter that rotates while floating above its 153mm-long oak base.

The silicon planter levitates via magnetic fields, which studies revealed to be helpful in enhancing plant metabolism and fruit ripening. With the plant spinning in mid-air, sunlight distribution is even. The pot is also easy to hold because of its geodesic shape, and has a proper drainage system that pushes water into an inner reservoir.

The floating planter is good for aerial plants that get nutrients from the air but can also be used to grow other plants, including herbs and flowers.
