Cutting board folds like a book

The Bambleu board from Stumpfstudio provides a small and large area for cutting, and serves as a garlic crusher and ingredient pourer.

Industrial designer James Stumpf introduces the Bambleu, a cutting board revamped to suit more purposes.

The 4-in-1 board is foldable, providing a full-size cutting area of 9.5x13.5in and a smaller surface at half the size. It also serves as a garlic and onion crusher and peeler, and an ingredient pourer.

The Bambleu board is made of sustainable bamboo and lined with stainless edging and hinges that enable bending. Its foldable body allows easy storage and convenient transfer of ingredients.

Made of formaldehyde-free materials, the board is food-safe and compatible with high-end knives and cutlery. It comes in three tones: dark, medium and light. Bambleu will be released this March and is currently available for pre-order.
