Dongguan Hooya Electronics Co. Ltd's DC power jack for laptops and digital devices has 30VDC, 0.5A rated load. Its contact and insulation resistance are ≤0.03ohm and ≥100Mohm, while the minimum withstand voltage is 500VAC at 50Hz.

The unit has 3 to 30N insertion force, operates in -30 to 70 C and lasts 5,000 cycles. It consists of brass curved piece and pin, respectively with silver and nickel plating, a silver-plated thermoplastic spring, and stainless steel washer and cover. The last is nickel-coated.
