As the Christmas season quickly approaches, shopping for the hottest toys for kids quickly comes to mind. With this, e-commerce company eBay has released its list of the hottest toys this holiday season.
The toy craze of 2016, Hatchimals, will reportedly continue to be a big seller. According to the firm, the toy sold every 30 seconds and was the top search term on eBay.com. Its creator, Spin Master, also recently announced Hatchimals Surprise, which gives children two creatures from the same egg. New species will also be rolled out.
Another list-topper for eBay is the Nintendo NES classic. The console is a revival of the NES system that was released back in 1985, which also had pre-installed games like Super Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., Pac-man and The Legend of Zelda.
Interactive toys are also gaining the market's attention. Finger-hugging Fingerling monkey toys are also predicted to be a hit. These plastic animals curl around the finger and can respond to motion, touch and sounds. The toys have over 40 animations and are available in six different colors and personalities. The company behind it, WowWee, has also designed a unicorn model.
Other toys that have recorded a rise in searches include Luvabella and L.O.L Surprise dolls.
