EU compliance update: Nickel test standards harmonized under REACH

ProductIP has reported that harmonized standards for nickel were published in an Official Journal of the EU in January 2016. Nickel is a restricted substance listed in entry 27 of REACH Annex XVII.

The three harmonized standards with test methods for determining nickel release from products are EN 1811:2011+A1:2015, EN 12472:2005+A1:2009 and EN 16128:2011.
