According to ProductIP, Dutch market surveillance authority NVWA ordered the recall of finger paints from consumers and shops. The product does not comply with the Toys Safety Directive, especially the prohibited use of nitrosamines and nitrosable substances in toys intended for use by children under 36 months or in other toys intended to be placed in the mouth.

In other news, recalls on carbon-monoxide (CO) detectors were notified by France, Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany and Lithuania this year.
