Mark your calendar: Oct. 18, 2014 is when the new Mobile Electronics trade show starts.

Global Sources launches a new sourcing fair this year exclusively for mobile electronics, which starts three days after its popular Electronics & Components show.

Global Sources is introducing the Mobile Electronics sourcing fair this year, running from October 18 to 21. The trade show will feature more than 1,600 booths exhibiting the latest smartphones, tablets, wearables and accessories coming out of China.

As with the company’s more well-known Electronics & Components fair, the Mobile Electronics show is free to attendees who register online and HK$50 at the door. Buyers can register for both events here.

The supplier booths set up at the new show join more than 3,700 booths that will be at the Electronics & Components show running from Oct. 11 to 14. More than 90 percent of exhibitors are exclusive to Global Sources shows.

Mobile electronics is one of the fastest growing industries in history and the addition of the new show gives buyers unmatched access to China suppliers in this fast-evolving sector.
