The AnkerBox from battery supply maker Anker Technology Co. Ltd dispenses 12 power banks that can be rented out for a certain fee. Each power bank has a capacity of 3,000 or 6,000mAh. The model adopts a special payment locking system that releases the power bank only when a payment has been made. This prevents the devices from getting stolen. The user needs to scan a barcode or a QR code to complete the payment.

The AnkerBox is compatible with Android and iOS phones. A version that dispenses six power banks is also available.
