China suppliers are offering more bladeless fans that have compact bodies, which make them easier to carry and store. This construction allows users to place the fans atop tables or mount them on walls. Some versions are also small and light enough to be handheld such as one featured model that measures only 9.5x4x17cm.
To boost portability, recent releases are powered by batteries or connected to electronic devices via a USB cable. One model in this gallery uses four AAA batteries that enable it to work continuously for five hours.
A number of bladeless fans also feature heads that can be rotated manually or via remote to an angle of 360 degrees. Sway modes are also available.
