Releases undergo various treatments for durability and staying sleek for a long time.
The latest steel pipes from China manufacturers are strong against rust and retain their shiny look over time.
Pipes undergo surface treatments enhancing strength, including hot-dip galvanization and electroplating for double coating against corrosion, pickling for removing impurities and stains, and annealing to improve ductility. Some releases can be subjected to durability tests on buyers' request.
A number of China-made pipes already come in stainless steel and can be polished. Couplings, caps and other relevant pipe fittings that are included with some releases can be treated with the mentioned processes as well.
In terms of length and diameter, pipes come in a range of measurements but many can be made according to buyer-specified dimensions.

Pickled, annealed
Cangzhou Weiheng's model 8mm-813mm seamless stainless steel pipe has a stain-free look and is ductile for it underwent pickling and annealing. It is also welded and can be subjected to Eddy current, hydrostatic, ultrasonic or intergranular corrosion tests upon buyer request. The pipe has an NPS of 1/8 to 32in, and wall that is 1 to 4mm thick. Length is up to 13mm. The ends can be plain or beveled. FOB price is $2,000 per US ton.
Stainless steel
China Royal offers the Bella-Stainless Steel Pipe-002 model that buyers can request to be polished. It comes in 200, 300, 400, 500 or 600 series stainless steel, and is 1 to 12m long. The pipe meets GB, ASTM, EN, DIN and JIS standards. FOB price is $1,580 to $1,700 per US ton.
Hot-dip galvanized
Zhengda Steel's model ZDP063 1/2 to 16in pipe is hot-dip galvanized, having a zinc coating of 280 to 350g/sqm. The surface is also welded, and the ends are plain or threaded with socket and plastic caps. The pipe can be made of ASTM A 106, GRB, A53 GRB, Q345, Q235, Q215 or Q195 steel. It is up to 12m long and its wall thickness is from 0.6 to 20mm. FOB price is $650 to $750 per metric ton. MOQ is five metric tons.
Cold- or hot-rolled
The 304-035 model from Qingdao Tailianbao is a cold- or hot-rolled stainless steel pipe that is suitable for use in automobiles, ships, bridges, buildings and construction, and machinery. The product can be annealed, tempered, quenched or normalized. Thickness ranges from 0.3 to 100mm. Length and width can be buyer-specified.
With electroplated couplings
Shanghai Fortune's Conduit Steel 20" model is a steel conduit pipe that features electroplated couplings. It has a wall thickness ranging from 1.24 to 36.5mm, and 5.8 or 11.8mm or customized length, and an outer diameter of 1/2 to 24in. The pipe's surface is oil-dipped, shot blasted and varnished. MOQ is 25 metric tons.
Various shapes
The model LC-SSP-008 stainless steel pipe from Wuxi Longchao comes in round, square and rectangle versions. It can be welded or seamless. Outer diameter is 6 to 600mm, thickness is 0.2 to 30mm and length ranges from 6 to 12m or is buyer-specified. FOB price is $1,750 to $1,950 per UK ton.
