India suppliers are offering handbags that can be converted into various styles.

Bag manufacturers in India are expanding their selections of multifunction or convertible designs. Handbags, for one, are often fitted with adjustable or removable straps that allow them to double as clutches or backpacks. Multiple compartments or pockets to accommodate various devices enhance functionality.

The trend for versatile bags has also given rise to stylish models suitable for various occasions, from a day at the office to a night out with friends.

Designs come in natural materials such as genuine leather, cotton and jute. PU and PVC leather, meanwhile, are among the synthetic inputs commonly adopted.

Cowhide, buffalo hide, goatskin and sheepskin are often from the Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. For cotton, among the sources are Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Telangana. Jute can be found in West Bengal and states near the Ganges Delta.

PU and PVC leather are often sourced from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Maharashtra.
