Suppliers in Nepal are improving the overall design and construction of garments to keep up with the latest global trends

Nepal apparel is assembled to conform to different body types. Newly rolled out dress shirts and pullovers accentuate a slim silhouette. Pants are similarly snug, with tapered legs boosting comfort. Pajamas and skirts have elastic waistbands to provide a relaxed fit.

In terms of aesthetics, manufacturers employ various decorative elements to enliven products. Common choices are printed and embroidered motifs, which are normally seen in blouses and T-shirts. Patchwork styles, mostly adopting combinations of bright and muted hues, are prevalent in women's pants.

Vibrant colors are used to add zest to the line, particularly in women's and children's casual wear. Popular options include pink, orange, green and blue. Solid and neutral pigments such as black, gray and navy blue are preferred in suits, coats and blazers.

Design trends over the next six months will depend on the product category. For casual wear, floral and animal prints are going to be emphasized. Checkered and striped patterns will be applied on trousers. Dresses are going to feature square cuts and pockets. Jackets will have polar fleece lining for added comfort.
