SiC types are attracting the attention of mainland China makers of diodes and diode modules for their high efficiency, low loss, and ultrasmall features.

Silicon- and germanium-based units make up the selection of diodes and diode modules in mainland China, with the first dominating supply. To keep up with trends in terminal applications, some companies have ventured into advanced kinds adopting silicon-carbide or SiC, and more are expected to follow suit.
