GPRS M2M RTU is access control device, alarm

King Pigeon's model S270 multiport GPRS M2M RTU allows users to control gates or machines and sends SMS alerts.

The S270 model from King Pigeon Communication Co. Ltd is a multi I/O port remote GPRS M2M RTU. Through the RS232/485 port, it can extend up to 64 additional I/O or connect intelligent meters or PLC. The product is designed for BTS monitoring and access control, remote data acquisition, telemetry and other applications. It supports voice and RJ-45 LAN IP communication, SMS, GPRS and 3G.

As a remote access control device, it allows authorized users to open the gate or turn on the machine with a free call at specified times. It adopts Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and TCP/IP protocol, facilitates transparent data transmission over GPRS/3G, RS232, RS485, RJ-45, and performs as Modbus Master or Slave. The terminal can also be used as a Modbus RTU SMS alarm that can send predefined SMS to users when the data acquisition from RS232/485 exceeds threshold.

The terminal incorporates an RM Cortex-M4 32-bit RISC core, 168MHz and an RTOS system. It can work at 9 to 36VDC and run on a built-in large-capacity rechargeable backup battery. It can also save historical data on a 4GB SD card and be configured to a USB port.
