Makers are utilizing engines from top-tier suppliers such as Cummins for improved efficiency. Many are also focusing design upgrades on lowering noise levels.

400V, 1,500rpm

Chongqing Bochi offers the model BMGS-1 diesel generator with a voltage of 400V and a rated speed of 1,500rpm. The water-cooled unit comes in a compact structure, and has low-discharge and speed-regulating features.

Automatic control system

Fuzhou APT Power Co. Ltd
The A-C124H-1 model from Fuzhou APT adopts a 6BT5.9G2 Cummins engine and an IP23-rated UCI 274 C Stamford alternator. The 6-cylinder, 4-stroke diesel generator operates on 220 to 440V at 60Hz, and has a rated output of 113kVA or 90kW and a 1,800rpm speed. It also integrates an automatic control system. On a full tank, the water-cooled unit can run continuously for six to eight hours. The permissible overload is 10 percent of the rated output for an hour every 12 hours. Each generator set also includes a control panel, chassis fuel tank, filters, muffler, radiator, circuit breaker and battery.

20 to 1,000kW capacity

Fuzhou KLin's model GF3-20 to GF3-1000KW-1-1 diesel generator set runs on 220/380 or 230/400V at 50/60Hz and has a of 20 to 1,000kW capacity. It utilizes a 4-stroke water-cooled Cummins engine and a three-phase, four-wire Stamford or Leroy Somer alternator. Water preheater and heat exchange, ATS and paralleling synchronous system, weather- and sound-resistant canopy, remote start and control communication interface are optional features. Space heater, parallel droop kit, IP42 to 44-rated air inlet, outlet filter and three-phase PTC thermostats for the alternator can also be included on request.

5kW super silent diesel generator

Fuzhou Launtop M&E's model LDG5000SA-1 diesel generator has a noise output of 60dBA at 7m, which is 10 percent lower than those of standard silent units. It uses a 406cc 3,000 to 3,600rpm LA186FG engine with lubricating oil and fuel tank capacity of 1.65 and 16L, respectively. The maximum AC output is 4.2 to 4.6kW with a continuous output of up to 5kW. The unit runs on 110 to 240V at 50/60Hz, and has a DC voltage or 12/8.3V and a power factor of 1.0. The model also comes with a AVR alternator and low-oil shutdown system. Its round-edged canopy comes with a top cover.

Air-cooled DM186FAE engine

The DMG6500LDE-1201 model from Shanghai Wellzoom uses a single-cylinder, 4-stroke air-cooled direct injection DM186FAE engine, and has a speed of 3,000rpm at 6kW and 3,600rpm at 6.5kW. The rated voltage is 110, 115, 120, 220, 230, 240, 110/220, 115/230 and 120/240V at 50/60Hz while rated and maximum output power are 4.5 to 5 and 5 to 5.5kVA, respectively. The 950x565x770mm diesel generator integrates an electric starter system, brushless self-excited alternator and low-oil pressure alert. It also has 19:1 compression ratio, 418-cubic inch displacement and 70 to 74dBA noise level at 7m.

200kW/250kVA prime power capacity

Shenzhen KCWY offers the KC-A014 model with a 200kW/250kVA prime power capacity and operates on 230 to 400V rated voltage at 50Hz. The water-cooled diesel generator adopts a 6-cylinder, 4-stroke 231kW NT855-GA CCEC Cummins engine and an IP21-rated EG280-200N Guangzhou Engga self-excited brushless AVR alternator. The former has a 1,500rpm speed, 231kW rated power, PT-type fuel injection pump, EFC electronic speed governor, and 14 and 31.6L displacement and lubricating oil capacity. The alternator comes with a class H insulation, 0.8 lagging power factor and three-phase, four-wire Y connection. The unit also adopts a Smartgen HGM6110 controller with a large LCD, LED indicator, RS485 port, and low-oil pressure, high-temperature, and overspeed and charge-fail protection. Open types have a dimension of 2,400x860x1,500mm while sound-resistant versions measure 3,150x1,150x1,720mm.

MTU 18V2000G65 Benz engine

The open-type unit utilizes an MTU 18V2000G65 Benz engine from Germany and an HCI 634K1 Stamford alternator. It also integrates a Denmark-sourced DEIF controller and a frame base-mounted ABB circuit breaker.

IP22-rated single-bearing brushless alternator

Zeb utilizes a Cummins engine and an IP22-rated single-bearing brushless Stamford or Leroy Somer alternator for its model ZC80-ZC1000-1 diesel generator. The latter has a class H insulation.
