Having a tool bag ready when on the go is a boon but one cannot be expected to carry a small tool box all the time for sudden repair needs. DIYers need not worry about the inconvenience anymore for they can now do repairs wherever they are with a new type of multifunction tool, one that resembles a small hair clip.
The hair clip-cum-multitool, Clippa, is designed by Yaacov Goldberg and offered by Israel home and office products online retailer Animi Causa. Its 60mm original version features two sizes of screwdrivers, a flat Phillips screwdriver, trolley coin, wrench, straight edge or ruler, and a cutter on the other side.
The product comes in two other versions, Clippa Lady and Clippa Blackfin, both measuring 52mm long. The former, coming in a different color, is the version suitable for women. It lacks screwdrivers but has a nail file, bottle opener and a scraper instead. The latter, meanwhile, is quite similar to the other variants but can be used as a box opener.
The clip-like mini tool is made of stainless steel and retails for $9.99.
