Keeping homes secure the smart way.

Smart security cameras complete a modern smart home setup by offering a live surveillance of the property that can be accessed even when the homeowner is far away. These cameras, as they surveil, also record the areas they cover and save the footage which will find its use in case of theft or other emergencies. According to market research provider Grand View Research, the global smart home security market, valued at $3.71 billion in 2019, is set to grow at a CAGR of 15.7 percent from 2020 to 2027. Growing adoption of smart home security devices will be driving this demand, among other factors.

Progress in technology have also augmented the once simple point-and-shoot capabilities of home surveillance cameras. In the latest models, the addition of smartphone application-enabled features such as night vision, video and audio intercom, motion sensor, and most importantly - higher resolution lenses - turned home surveillance cameras into cameras that not only records videos, but can also automatically alert home owners of the presence of other individuals in their homes and communicate with them. Since parenting is a full-time job, manufacturers have also decided to add a nifty little feature called the baby cry alert - which, if you're wondering, is exactly what it sounds.
