For use in powersports vehicles such as motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and PWCs, this 12.8V LiFePO₄ battery from Shenzhen BAK Energy Co. Ltd delivers 260 cold cranking amperes, and has 30C continuous discharge and 60 to 80C burst rates. The charging current is 2.5 to 15A.

The unit comes in various capacities. It incorporates a battery management system for overcharging, -discharging and -heating protection, and balance charging. The operating temperature is -20 to 60 C.

The 135x75x139mm battery has gold-plated terminals and weighs 0.88kg or a third of a sealed lead-acid type. It can also be used in utility vehicles and lawnmowers.
