Equipped with light and motion sensors, the Maglamp model from Hometree Technology (Shen Zhen) Co. Ltd turns off automatically during the day, or when there are no people or light inside the room. It switches on when it detects movement as well. The unit is powered by a 50mAh lithium battery that takes 30 minutes to charge fully.

The novelty lamp is designed with two magpies and an egg resting on a bare tree platform. The birds and the egg can be detached and used independently, and attached on any metal surface via its magnetic base. The stand is made of wood and doubles as a holder for jewelry and other small items.
