Tegu's wooden blocks set conceal magnets that allow pieces to remain stuck firmly to one another, making buildings sturdier.

Wooden blocks have been around since forever, but one company called Tegu has reinvented the classic toy to make creations more durable and versatile.
By inserting magnets in each wooden block, it becomes possible for users to build structures in any height or form they like without limits. The magnets allow each piece to be connected to each other firmly, preventing creations from toppling over or being deconstructed at the slightest touch.
Using magnets, users are also able to create gravity-defying structures that are otherwise impossible to make with normal blocks, including bridges or abstract buildings.
The wooden toy blocks are made of solid hardwood and come in various forms, including 1.18in cubes, and short, long and jumbo planks. Most sets come with wheels for mobile models such as cars.
Aside from freeform kits, Tegu has specific ones such as the Skyhook, which is a helicopter that can be used with the wooden blocks.
Safety-wise, Tegu's offerings have been examined by several toy testing agencies for compliance with child safety regulations.
