On 8 July, Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation (ZTE) released its latest 4G smartphones: Nubia Z7 Max and Mini. Like other phones in the Nubia line, the Nubia Z7 Max seeks to give users the ability to shoot high-quality photos. The phone has a 13-megapixel camera and two LED flashlights at the back. The camera uses an F2.0 aperture, the second generation of Optical Image Stabilizer and the latest NeoVision 4.0 photograph function.
The company claims that this phone can be used to “shoot the galaxy.” To prove its point, ZTE presented a picture of the galaxy it shot using the smartphone’s camera after its shutter was left open for about 30 minutes.
Nubia Z7 Max uses Panel Self Refresh technology, which extends the phone’s standby time and reduces heating. This phone supports several mobile network standards, including TD-LTE, FDD LTE, TD-SCDMA,WCDMA, EVDO and GSM. It also provides dual-card-two-standby function.
Nubia Z7 Max uses the 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU (MSM8974AC). It runs on Android 4.4 using the custom Nubia UI 2.0 and has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The display is a 5.5in Sharp 2K screen with a 2560x1440 aspect ratio with 401 pixels per inch. The phone also uses Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology to achieve faster battery charging. The product supports MHL 3.0, NeoLink 3.0 and multi-touch interaction.
